Ken LaBelle is a career Captain for a town in Rhode Island. He has been involved in the fire service since 1992 and was hired full time in 1997. I have been “buffing” fires for many years and became very active with fireground photography in 2006 when I purchased my first digital camera. I can be seen photographing in southern New England along with visits to Buffalo, NY, Detroit, MI, Myrtle Beach, SC, Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, and San Francisco, CA. I have had my work published in Firehouse Magazine, Fire Engineering Magazine, 1st Responder Newspaper, The Fire-News Newspaper, along with several local newspapers. I also had an "On the Job" spread in Firehouse Magazine. Firehouse Magazine chose to use my portfolio on their August 2012 iPad app. You can find my book called, “The Bravest in Action – The best of 2007-2008” on www.blurb.com. The ebook version is also available on the blurb website. I am using two Canon 5D Mark 4 SLR cameras along with a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens and a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens with each with a Canon 580EX II Speedlite flashes.
