Northbridge Ladder 1 set up in the driveway and threw the stick to the roof to vent if needed. Firefighters entered the dwelling through the front door to check for extension inside the residence as crews kept the car fire in check. The fire code wall board that was applied to the garage walls and ceiling contained the fire to the area of origin.Three hand lines were stretched and operated during the blaze. All Northbridge apparatus responded to the scene along with mutual aid from Grafton. Upton Fire sent companies to cover the stations. The cause and origin is under investigation.
