Woonsocket, RI Firefighters responded to 85 Arnold Street for a reported building fire on January 18, 2009 during a 12" snow fall. Engine 3 arrived to find heavy smoke showing from a 3sty brick apartment building. Engine 3's truck would not engage into pump as heavy fire started to blow out of the first floor windows. Engine 6 took over first due duties and stretched in to quickly knock the bulk of the heavy fire down. Companies overhauled and checked for extension on the upper floors with negative results.
