Lincoln, RI - Lincoln Fire Alarm along with the RI State Police received calls for a high speed rollover on Rte-295 Northbound around 1230hrs on April 14, 2010. Rescue 2, Squad 21, Engine 24, and Chief 2 responded to the scene along a Rhode Island State Police cruiser. Car-2 arrived on scene and reported a single vehicle rollover with two occupants self extricated. Squad 21's crew assited Rescue 2 with cervical spine stabilization of the patients. Engine 24 took a blocking position to protect the scene and also placed traffic cones to help divert vehicles from the scene. The two patients were placed in full c-spine precautions and elvaluated of their injuries. Rescue 2 transported the two victims to the Rhode Island Trauma Center for treatment of their injuries.
