Woonsocket, RI firefighters responded to a 3sty 6 family occupied dwelling for a possible structure fire. Engines 2, 3, 4, Tower 2, Rescue 1, and Chief 1 were on the box. Engine 2 arrived to find a fire in the basement on the side 3-4 corner and quickly stretched in a 1.75 hand line and knocked the fire down. A second line was stretched for a backup but was never charged. Engine 4 supplied a 4" LDH hydrant line into Engine 2. Companies overhauled and checked for extension for a hour.
