Burrillville, RI - Nasonville firefighters responded to the address of 1550 Douglas Pike for a reported chimney fire around 1115hrs on December 19, 2009. Companies had an active chimney fire with no extension to the dwelling. Chains were dropped into the flue to break creosote to promote free flow to the fireplace. Companies returned in service shortly after the all clear was given by command.
