The driver of this single vehicle mva was pinned for 40 minutes after crossing the lane of travel and hitting a large tree. Nasonville and Oakland-Mapleville used the cutters, spreaders, and a sawzall to free the drivers legs which was pinned by the "A" post, steering wheel, and the firewall. The driver was reported to be conscious and alert throughout the extrication. The OIC reqquested Lifeflight due to the extended extrication. The Lifeflight crew arrived at the scene to help stabilize the driver before departure to the landing zone at the Burrillville Middle School.
