Boston, MA - A suspicious package prompted the evacuation of Charlestown High School located at 240 Medford Street on May 21, 2010. A package was found in a teacher's office on the fifth floor just before 10:30 a.m. Students and faculty were evacuated to the football field across the street for a time. The Boston Bomb Squad x-rayed the package before they drove it a few blocks away to detonate it. The techs found nothing harmful in the metal box after they exploded it in the parking lot. Classes resumed about an hour later.
