Burrillville, RI (Providence County) - Stations 3, 2, and 1 responded to Rte-102 (Bronco's Highway) at the intersection of Inman Road on February 2, 2009 for a reported 2 car accident with possible entrapment. First due units from Station 3 found two vehicles in the northbound lane with moderate damage. Chief 3 reported that he had several injuries in the two vehicles. The "Jaws of Life" were stretched from Engine-32 as a precaution. The firefighters were able to remove the occupants from their vehicles without the use of hydraulic tools. Four EMS units transported the patients in full cervical spine precautions to local hospitals for observation.
