Uxbridge Fire Department responded to 350 North Main Street for a reported well involved building around 3am on January 24, 2008. The OIC arrived to find smoke pushing from a 20x30 1.5sty wdfm vacant dwelling. The first due engine stretched in a 1.75" hand line through the front door to knock down the contents on fire. A second line was laid in dry to the bravo side doorway for back up. Ladder 1 made themselves ready to vent the roof if needed. The fire was under control in roughly a half an hour. Three engines, 1 ladder, and the engine/rescue worked this fire along with Northbridge providing station coverage.
